چکیده
Heavy metal(loid)s (HMs) contamination in agricultural soil and crops is related to the quality safety of products public health has attracted worldwide attention. This study systematically investigated bioaccumulation HMs including Cd, Pb, Cr, Hg, As Se associated (Tea, Plum Corn) Guizhou Province, China, assessed risks edible part using bioconcentration factor (BCF), geoaccumulation index (Igeo), target hazard quotient (THQ). The results indicate that mean concentrations Pb (39.54 ± 16.56 mg/kg), Cr (122.50 33.36 Hg (0.26 0.33 (25.40 21.34 (0.90 0.46 mg/kg) cultivated exceed background values Province by 1.12, 1.28, 2.36, 1.27, 2.4 times, respectively. However, average concentration Cd 0.49 mg/kg, which lower than corresponding value. Igeo samples were 1, indicating a relatively low degree enrichment, whereas enrichment was obvious, as approximately 32.9% at moderate above levels. contents corn, plum, tea pollutant limit. BCF three high, strong migration ability, soil-crop system higher those corn plum. Correlation analysis showed pH K2O, Fe2O3, Al2O3 negatively correlated with system, they affected macro-oxidation soil, basically not affected. human risk assessment THQ demonstrated local residents from eating drinking low.

The study evaluates associated health risks of heavy metals in the soil to inhabitants of two mining areas of Nigeria. For so doing, it collects and analyses nine homogenous soil samples for their lead, copper, cadmium, zinc, and chromium levels, using AAS. The samples are then used to calculate health risks to adults and children. For adult population in Agbaja community, the calculated hazard...
